We are rapidly closing in on the November 4 General Election.  Also on this year's ballot is the Special Election to fill the vacated State Senate District 17 Seat that was formally held by Kyle Janek.  The HPOU PAC sponsored candidate in the Texas State Senate Special Election is Joan Huffman.  

As you may recall, Joan is a Harris County Assistant District Attorney and a former State Criminal District Court Judge.  During her outstanding career Joan was always a huge supporter and friend to working police officers and did all she could to support our efforts to protect our community.  We honored her service as a State Criminal District Court Judge in 2000 by selecting her as our "Judge of the Year." 

It is important that we do all we can to help Joan win her election.  Please click here to see if you are a registered voter by precincts in State Senate District 17.  If you are in fact within the district boundaries, please vote for Joan Huffman and please encourage your friends and neighbors who also live in State Senate District 17 to vote for Joan Huffman too.
