HPD Sound-Off will hold a live internet chat session with 2003 mayoral candidate Michael Berry on August 18 from 7pm - 8pm.

During the chat, members will have the opportunity to ask Berry questions on topics that concern them. The group hopes to have other mayoral candidates participate in a similar forum prior to the election.

Only members of HPD Sound-Off will be able to participate in this event. To join HPD Sound-Off, go to their website at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HPDsoundoff/ and read the criteria for joining.

Those who qualify can request membership. All members are verified before being allowed access to the discussion groups. The verification process takes 24 to 72 house to complete, so please register well in advance of the event if you intend to paticipate.

HPD Sound-Off is an online discussion group for members of local law enforcement. They currently have over 250 members. HPD Sound-Off is not affiliated with the HPOU or the Houston Police Department
