The HPOU PAC interviewed Peter Brown, Annise Parker, and Gene Locke on Wednesday, July 15th for a possible endorsement for Mayor of Houston.  All three candidates stated that they were pro police and pledged to assist officers if elected.  We will continue to complete some research on the candidates before making a recommendation to the board for an endorsement.  Hopefully we will be able to make such an endorsement in August.  It was clear that all three candidates see the importance of the HPOU endorsement.  Gene Locke stated that such was "critical" to his campaign.  Thanks to all who contribute to PAC and have helped the HPOU become a key player in the political arena.
