National Police Week Awards Ceremony at the Landry’s Downtown Aquarium
At 10 a.m. on Monday (May 10), Houston Police Chief Charles A.
McClelland, Jr., and members of the Houston Police Department will
attend the National Police Week Awards Ceremony at the Landry’s
Downtown Aquarium, 410 Bagby. The master of ceremonies will be Dave
Ward, News Anchor for KTRK Channel 13.
Chief McClelland will present awards to 31 recipients. Ticket holders
only will be admitted.
It is during Police Week that we remember and honor those who have
given the ultimate sacrifice of their lives so that we may live in
safety and peace. Please join the Houston Police Department in
commemorating the law enforcement officers who have paid the ultimate
sacrifice, selflessly dedicating their lives in the line of duty while
serving to protect the citizens of our great city.
