Members of Cops Offering Pediatric Support
Posted by Ray Hunt on Monday May 17, 2010

Tuesday, May 18, at 10 AM, members of Cops (C.O.P.S.), and other police agencies, will be offering
Pediatric Support by holding a special event at Texas Children’s Hospital to hand out stuffed animals
to cancer patients and their families.

The event gives police officers a chance to assist the community on a
different level then they get to do on a daily basis. C.O.P.S. was
formed in 1986 and consists of officers and deputies from the Houston
Police Department, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Houston
Community College Police Department, Harris County Constables’
Offices, Metro Police Department and other surrounding agencies.  The
stuffed animals have been provided by donations from Wal-Mart, CVS and
other area merchants.

For more information, please contact Officer B.A. Preciado at
832-314-1890.
