HPOU has announced its endorsements for the 2011 fall city elections (see flyer) including Mayor, Controller and city council positions. "We have examined the candidates carefully to discern who we believe can be great champions of proud men and women of the Houston Police Department," HPOU Vice-President and PAC Chairman Ray Hunt said, "We look forward to actively supporting these endorsed candidates and assisting them to victory in November and December."

Additionally, HPOU announced its opposition to incumbent city council member Jolanda Jones with this mailer.

Early voting begins Monday, October 24.
