The 2005 election for HPOU President and Board of Directors is final. The proposed Constitutional amendment to extend the Line of Duty death benefit to officers called to military duty, passed by an almost three to one margin.
The 2005 election for HPOU President and Board of Directors is final. The proposed Constitutional amendment to extend the Line of Duty death benefit to officers called to military duty, passed by an almost three to one margin. In accordance with Article IV, Section 9-Voting Procedures: A.(5) of the Constitution of the Houston Police Officers’ Union, the Chairman of the Election Committee has certified that the voting list below represents the final results for the 2005 Union election. As a final step in the process, the Board of Directors have certified, by majority vote the final results.
