Sgt Ed Gonzales won his runoff race on Saturday, June 13th, and will join Houston City Council immediately to fulfill the term of Adrian Garcia, who won the Sheriff position in November.  Ed was endorsed by the HPOU, is a member of the HPOU,  and a regular contributor to PAC.  He will have to run again in November, but will have the advantage of being the incumbent.  The HPOU congratulates Ed and looks forward to working with him on Council.
